Not sure how big this news is- Today, during Obama’s 100th day in office press conference, he admitted as frankly as I could imagine that the US did torture people.  Tom Friedman offers a good summary of the argument for not prosecuting officials involved, while also making the information about the situation transparent.  I don’t agree, but I really enjoy the points he brings up.
